So, I'm pretty sure this is going to go up there as one of the longest days of my life. I woke up at 3 and was through security by 4:50 to catch a 6am flight to Boston. Then, 2 hour delay later landed in Chicago at 11:20. Whoosh. And now, I'm waiting for my room to be ready. Womp. Heather needs a nap.
Anywho. I wanted to let ya'll know that STINT briefing starts today! I've already hooked up with a few from my team and I love them. Not like I didn't know I loved the girls. But, just such a praise to be with people that it feels like you've known them for years.
This week I'm asking for prayer as I meet the rest of the team. Prayers for unity, strength, encouragement, and the rest of our support to come in!! Pray this week is full of restoration for our weary souls after a long, arduous summer, and to prepare us for the final two week push once we come home on Monday.
Also, prayers for my friends who are stinting in different places. I have a best friend/honorary housemate going to the Netherlands, two going to East Asia, and two going to Northern Africa. Most of them are leaving straight from here on Monday and so safe journeys and for this week to restore them so that they leave well.
It's going to be a fun week!! (After I get a nap and some more coffee, until then, hardcore on the struggle bus)
